Kenneth W. Blackburn, also know to many as “Bear,” of Trafford Alabama, passed away, peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday September 14, 2020 after a long battle with dementia.
Kenny was a mechanic by trade and known for his love of racing and Alabama Football.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Melvin and Hazel Blackburn, sisters; Bonnie Fuzzell and Nancy Blackburn.
Kenny is survived by; his fiancé, Patricia Crumpton, son; Shannon Blackburn (Shelley) sisters; Linda Smith and Earline Howell, grandchildren; Hunter, Luke and Grady Blackburn, Dylan Morse (Katelyn), Landon and Karsen Burton. He is also survived by a host of other friends, family and an entire racing community who he loved dearly.
Kenny also served as a Volunteer Firefighter in the Montevallo community for many years.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for you to donate to your local Volunteer Fire Department or The Alzheimer’s Resarch Association. A memorial service will be held at Grace Community Baptist Church in Remlap, Alabama 
(599 Spunky Hollow Road Remlap Alabama 35133) on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 2pm, refreshments will be served after the service.

Bro. Steven Moro and Dylan Morse will officiate the service.
