Kenny was born in Richmond, Indiana and was raised in Richmond and Winchester, IN. His parents are Father, Ken Jordan and Mother, Jane Cooper.  His stepparents are Step-Father, Ernest Cooper, and Step-Mother, Pat Jordan. He had also lost a Step-Mother, Sue Jordan. He had many brothers and sisters:  Sisters: Patricia Cooper, Shan Kempton, Amy Fosdick and Amanda Cox. Brothers: Curt Cooper and Eric Cooper. He had lost a brother, Scott Jordan, in March of 1990. He also had many nieces and nephews. Kenny was a Die-hard Indiana University fan and Dale Earnhart and Dale Earnhart Jr. fan. He graduated from Winchester High School
