I just spoke with Vee on the phone for the 1st time about some business idea's. What an awesome lady & I am very proud to call her a friend now after speaking with her & I really appreciate how she took time out of her day to talk to me. After reading this memorial about Kenneth I sure wish I would have had the opportunity to meet such a wonderful man & loving husband. May he R.I.P. & hopefully he has connected with my father who has been in heaven since 1985. Kenneth & daddy i hope you guys are catching some lunkers & sharing family & fishing stories together everyday!

I only met Kenneth once but there was an instant realization that this Man was serious. His answer to all of my questions was "Talk to Vee". I know that he was trying to protect and secure his knowledge and his family. I commend him for these standards that "he" lived by. I wish that we could have met earlier so that we could have shared our favorite stories about our life in and outside of the military. It is a blessing to his family that he had so many talents and that he has taught and shared with them his talents.

A very sad day in my life was hearing my good friend Ken had passed away, the second saddest was spreading his ashes on Lake Fork with his gracious wife Vee and his daughter. Every tournament I put on he would be there first thing in the morning with sausage biscuits wishing me well. I now wish him well at that lake in heaven..loved and missed.

With the passing of Ken went the passing of a great friend that can not be replaced. We always spoke of him taking a ride in my new Legend boat, but never got around to it until after the very end. It was a heart break to take him for his final boat ride on Lake Fork when Vee and I and his daughters spred his ashes on the lake he loved so much...We love and miss you!

Ken and I met forty five years ago in 1967. It was a business meeting and the beginning of long friendship. He was a Texan at heart with a quick smile, sense of humor and an enthusiasm for life. It was a privilege to be his friend and he is missed.
