We honor and celebrate the life of Kenneth Russell Freeman the fourth child of William Freeman and Esther Hogan Freeman. He was born on November 20, 1943 in Lakewood, NJ. “Kenny” as he was affectionately known, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus located in Lakewood, NJ. He was 77 years old.

Kenny learned the importance of family while growing up. He was blessed to be raised in a loving Christian home but also benefited from having many loving relatives. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior as a child. Kenny’s early education was at Switlik Elementary School in Jackson, NJ. He then went on to Lakewood High School where he enjoyed playing football and baseball. After graduating in 1962, Kenny went to work for Central Jersey Pipe and Concreate Company in Farmingdale, NJ. In April of 1965 he joined the United States Army, completing basic training at Fort Dix, then off to serve in Vietnam. Once his tour of duty was over, he returned home and worked for Harry Must Construction Company and then ended his work career with Reed and Priene Fertilizer Company.

Kenny was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan. If they were playing, he was watching, and of course eating his Italian Hoagie and drinking an ice-cold beer.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; two Sisters: Wanda Douglas, Betty Evans and a Brother, Lamont Freeman.

Kenny will be remembered for his kindness and extreme good looks. He had a smile that could light up any room. He was a “Gentle Giant” that loved his family. He will truly be missed!
