I really don't know what to say. The news of your death came as a rude shock to me. Indeed late that night before your leaving this world, I spoke with you about 2-3 times on phone there was nothing to hint that you will not make it to the following morning. We agreed to meet at the Mainland hospital the following morning at 7am. Sadly, this was not to be as instead the information I received was that you had passed on into glory. Your death is a very painful reality, but God knows best. It was however, a a great privelege knowing you as a brother in Christ and a fellow minister in the vineyard of the Lord in RCCG LP24. We are comforted in the fact that you died in Christ. You were such a serious and committed christian, a faithful and zealous as well as sacrificial minister in the vineyard of the Lord. Your legacy lives on. I pray that the Almighty God will comfort your wife and nuclear and extended family, as well as the body of Christ. Rest in the bosom of our Lord until we meet to part no more. Where do I begin?? I know without a doubt you fulfilled destiny. I've known you all my life Uncle Kehinde. You were kind, gentle, calm, prayerful, loving and caring. A true gentleman indeed. You put God first in whatever you did and were a tireless worker in the house of the Lord.
A man always ready to go the extra mile always. A wonderful role model for young Christians also a confidant and mentor.
A painful loss to the entire family. I cannot begin to describe how much you inspired and motivated me. I'm truly lost for words.
The Almighty God will continue to strengthen and uphold us during this time. I pray the peace of God will be with the family you left behind always (Aunt Ose and Mojola).
Uncle Kehinde I know for sure you are in the bosom of the Lord. We thank God for your life. You will continue to live on in our hearts forever.

Continue to rest in peace dear Uncle. We will meet again in heaven.

My dear Stoneface. Last time we saw before my return to the UK, you were in Ibadan on a brief visit to your dear Mum, fortunately I was home and you came down to spend few hours with me at Felele. That was after Mama's 80th birthday. That's Kehinde who genuinely care for his own and others. I will forever remember how you and Taiwo helped me settle into University life by accommodating and sharing all you had with me when I first gained admission to OSU in 1988. You were disciplined, straightforward and compassionate. I was not surprised at all when you finally chose to spend the rest of your life serving the Lord. I will forever remember you my friend and brother. Enjoy Eternity with the Lord while you wait for the rest of us to inevitably join you there eventually in glorious reunion.

I couldn't believe it when I heard. You just checked up on me a few days earlier. Never did I imagine that'll be the last time I'll hear your voice. It hurts to realize that now! I will forever remember your compassion, your sincerity, your uprightness. You were truly a rare gem and I'm grateful to God to have crossed paths with you. You inspired me and was always there for me. I will miss you greatly sir.

Life is short, thank you for the wonderful times, for the lives you touched, and for ALL you did. You're gone, but your legacy lives on...

May the Lord keep and preserve your beautiful family and grant ALL your loved ones the fortitude to bear this great loss.

Your memory lives on...

Pastor Oluyanwo was a great man of God who inspired us so much
For the short time we worked under him as our Area Pastor we saw a worshipper,a man who feared God and wanted to do everything to please God. We learnt timeliness and and orderliness from him. He is gentle, kind and very caring. A humble man to the core. We miss you Daddy and you will forever be in our hearts until we see you in Glory.

    TRIBUTE TO A DYNAMIC SOUL

"For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens" - 2 Corinthians 5:1
It is with a deep sense of an irreparable loss that I received the news of the transition to eternal glory of Pastor Kehinde Oluyanwo, the beloved husband of my darling sister and the current President of our great Association, Professional Insurance Ladies Association, Mrs Ose Oluyanwo.
My heart was however full of gratitude to God for his life was fully spent in the service of God and humanity.
It is my fervent prayers that the Lord Almighty will console the entire family and comfort them during the moments of this great loss.
May his dynamic soul rest in perfect peace in the bosom of God Almighty. Amen

Tribute to my Pastor Kehinde

My heart has been so heavy since I heard of your demise. You were such a calm, gentle, loving, firm, very accommodating and passionate lover of God. I remember since you and your humble wife started giving me ride home after our pastor's meetings and Divine Revolution, you have never failed to carry and dropped me in my house. You will always go the extra mile of waiting for me if I am involved in other meetings to ensure you drop me off. You were such a wonderful personality.
The truth is I wish you were still here but the reality is that you are in a better place, worshipping and resting with your maker.
Rest on till we all meet again in the bosom of the LORD

Tribute to Pst Kehinde Oluyanwo from Ejike & Nkechi Mba
Pst Kehinde, you have excellently related with us both as a friend, mentor, pastor and a father. In many ways you have shown us that there is no limit to excellence, and that there is always room for improvement. And you have thought us to obey rules, keep to scheduled time, have passion for God's work, offer help to others, regularly visit the sick, and many others.
In the time of need, you were always there for us: providing care, prayers, comfort, encouragement, support and hope. And because you were there, we overcame all the challenges.
The Church will now miss your fatherly care, your prayers, instructions and guidance, and numerous gifts that you provided weekly to the members.
You have created a vacuum in our life that is too difficult to fill.
God knows why you have left us without notice. But we get our consolation from Isaiah 57:1 that says that the righteous shall be taken away from the evil that is to come.
Adieu Pst Kehinde.

TRIBUTE TO LATE KEHINDE OLUYANWO

Death is indeed a necessary end for all mortals. It signifies the terminal point which though we all know but dread to remember and experience. The news of the demise of Late Kehinde Oluyanwo came to the entire insurance industry like a thunderbolt in the wind, given the fact that he never seemed to be a candidate of death considering his age and wellness. But we remit all powers to the Almighty God who has power to give and to take when he wishes. The death of Kenny as he is often called became more painful to us, being  an insurance professional and at the same time the admirable husband of one of the most progressive insurance ladies and President of the Insurance Ladies Association (PILA), Mrs Ose Oluyanwo.
Although the deceased was not a member of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers, the fact that he was an Insurance practitioner and shinning light who paid his dues to the industry made the Council have a deep sense of loss about his painful departure. Those who had close relationship with him during his life time have variously testified to his great sense of responsibility, professional excellence and noble spirit. These are definitely virtues which the insurance industry profoundly desires and would miss in the deceased.
I can, as a foremost member of PILA, also testify to the fact of effective leadership that Ose Oluyanwo, the wife of the deceased, demonstrated as President. If the biblical saying that the head of the woman is the man, then Kehinde could be said to have provided a good headship that served as the tonic for the Ose to deliver excellently in office. As a Council, we deeply empathise with her and pray God to comfort her and the entire family at this great moment of grief.
There is no gainsaying that the insurance industry would miss the deceased; the church of God of which he was a shephered would miss him and the whole world would miss him.
On behalf of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers and its entire membership, I register our deep condolences to the family of the Ogunyanwos and particularly his amiable wife and our colleague, Ose. May the Almighty God uphold you all at this moment of grief.
Adieu. Kenny.

Goodnight, my friend, your journey has ended.
Your struggles have now begun to cease.
Time to close your eyes to happy dreams
And wake to eternal peace.

The road is not so long now.
No more winding paths,
Just a silver beam of radiant light
That will take you home at last.

Goodnight, my friend; I wish I could have more time.
I wish I could make you stay.
It's easier to be that selfish
Than to deal with this pain every day.

I don't want you to be afraid.
Everything will be okay.
I will stay with you till the end
And hold your hand as you drift away.

Goodnight, my friend; I don't want to let go.
We've been together many years.
From our University days, to our ordination as Pastors where we slept on the same bed at the camp.
It's hard to see what lies ahead.
It's blurry through the tears, but the hope we have in Christ keeps us consoled.

Free from pain, you fight no more.
That's all we wish for ones we love.

I remember when we spoke last, inviting for a ministration in your Area headquarters which never happened.

I will miss you until it becomes my time.

So, goodnight, my friend; tears fall
As I bid a regrettable farewell.
One thing will remain honest and true,
For me, you have been a wonderful fellow that had the fear of God.

The grief I feel will be as endless as my love for you.
Until we meet again at those pearly gates...wait for me there

It’s really difficult to write a tribute to you Pst Kenny as I fondly call you. We met around 2004/2005 or so. We belonged to the same province and area then. We were both parish pastors.

Your simplicity and humility endeared you to me. We were like brothers in the area. We stay in the same block when we go to RCCG camp. Your chalet is almost next to mine. You will always park your car and we usually drive in the same car to the RCCG auditorium. I used to drive and we always gist as we go. We always sat together in the prayer foyer and also at the altar in the auditorium.

Pst Kenny is like a brother from another mother, he was more than a friend. I remembered 2015, when we were ordained PASTORS, we were together all through in the ordination camp. I remembered vividly Pst Austine Okolo asking me one time, if I had known you before we met at the area.

I was in your house during your fiftieth birthday and you were also in my house during my fiftieth birthday. We always kept in touch, even while you were on a vacation in Dubai.

We spoke just two weeks ago, and had some plans of business to carry out immediately the lockdown is fully lifted. But the next thing I heard, was your death. It’s hard to believe that my REAL GEE, Pst Kenny Oluyanwo is no more.

“Oh Death! where is your sting? Oh grave! where is your victory”

“The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord”

God alone knows the best, “known unto God are all His works, from the beginning of the world”.

Pst Kenny, you have moved to a better place, that, I know for sure. We will meet again on resurrection morning.

My condolence to Pst(Mrs) Ose Oluyanwo and your daughter. I pray that the good Lord will strengthen and keep them during this trying time.

ADIEU MY BOSOM FRIEND KENNY.

From Pst Charles Sikwu and Dcns Felicitas Sikwu.

Don’t think of him as gone away, his journey’s just begun,
Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.
And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched…
Just as the Bible says;
“We should not mourn like those that have no hope…” 1 Thess 4:13
“The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh, glory be to the name of the Lord…” Job 1:20

I am not sure you could remember me if we had met recently,
But am sure I know you, back in the days when you do visit the family compound in Sagamu.
Am glad our family name connected us together, but above all, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST connected us in the Spirit, which is most cherished.

Rest on Brother.

Haaaa...! Kehinde, the news of your demise came as a great shock. I am yet to come to terms with the fact you are gone. The truth however is that the Lord Almighty who loves you more, has called you to rest on in His bosom. Who are we to question God, He who is our maker knows it all.
Kehinde, you were a considerate gentleman who lived an exemplary life. Growing up together, you played the role of a brother to my siblings and I. Always supported and protected us like a superhero, this you remained as an anointed son of God. Kehinde, you conquered death, rest on in the bosom of the Lord.
May the Lord Almighty comfort the family and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss. Mummy, Ose, Mojola, Taiwo and senior siblings, please take solace in the Lord Almighty, He will wipe your tears and fill the vacuum created by this loss. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

The news of your death came to me in a devastating shock. I first met you in the year 2000 where we worked with Global Commerce & General Insurance Ltd at Apapa. You were a complete gentleman and excellent colleague with humility you have imbibed as a born again Christian. Seeing you then one would know you had a pastoral calling. We usually prayed every morning before the start of work and you participated fully.

I don't understand how good people die early, but God understands why He allowed you to be taken home this early. No one can query Almighty God.

Kenny, may your gentle soul rest in peace. And may God give your wife, children and family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Kenny, rest on till we meet again to part no more.

Adieu.

I met Pastor Kehinde and his twin brother back in the years at Ogun State University, he was very calm and gentle. Our paths met again in the Insurance Industry. I always reintroduce myself anytime i see him and he nods his head in acknowledgment. The last being at the investiture of his dear wife as the President of PILA. The news of his death was received as a huge shock. He contributed immensely his quota to the Insurance Industry and served the Lord diligently. I pray the Lord grant your soul, sweet repose. Till we meet at Jesus feet, continue to Rest in Peace.

We met in 2004 when we joined Signal Insurance Co. Ltd. He was my direct line manager and we then moved to Custodian & Allied. Over the years, we have remained friends and I grew to know and love Oga Kenny both as a colleague and as a big brother. "Oga Kenny" as myself and my family fondly called him was a kind gentleman. He was a great boss and a good friend. Always ready to listen and give a shoulder. I remember teasing him as the "first Man of PILA". I have so much to say, but finding it difficult to put into words. The news of his demise hit me so hard and I am still trying to accept it's true. I pray that the good Lord grant his soul eternal rest and grant his family the grace to bear the loss.

You were a man of honour and he who lived a life of the fear of God.
Pastor Kenny was a very quiet and easy going man that was committed to the work of God.
The news of your passing away pontificate the fact that this life is short and it is not our home.
I am sure the Lord have a need of good people and that is why HE has taken you away to Himself.
We love you but God loves you more.
Rest in the bosom of the Almighty God.
Adieu Dear Pastor Kenny.
