Memories of Kermit Lee Guss

February 4, 2013

I met Kermit in 1973. We married and had our wonderful son, Jason Lee Guss  in 1974. Kermit was a kind , very quiet and private man. A dedicated devoted father and  good provider. One of the best 'locksmiths' around.Kermit loved quiet and being outdoors, and sharing  quality time  with our son. They went to wrestling matches, golfed, loved attending car shows in Wash/.DC and experimenting in the kitchen.lol
Kermit had a way about making others laugh,  with his own sense of humour. He had his own style, his own sayings, his own beliefs. He loved his family, friends and people from all walks of life. I never heard a curse word come from his mouth. never drank .. just a wholesome, loving, and kind guy. Unfortunately,Kermit had no idea he had  a bad heart,  until it was too late. Never sick a day in his life, he never bothered to see a doctor nor felt he needed  one.  I miss you Kermit Lee. Thank you for always being our devoted friend and being there for us. Thank you for being a friend to Jeff  through his battle with cancer..and sharing our trips  with us on Sundays for the last 24 yrs. We  hold dear those trips and your  'trivia games' making us  laugh!! I can hear your laughter as plain as day. One of our funniest  memories was Kermit hopping around the living room showing off his funny, multicolored, toe socks! haha. He loved wearing t shirts from the many places we visited on our Sunday travels together..A love for photography.. we have pictures of him running on the beaches of Ocean City on a windy day, trying to catch his hat blowing away!!  We love you and miss you deeply. Come  visit us in our dreams.  Loving you in such a dear ,dear way. Love, Sue and Jeff
