It is hard to believe it has been a year since we lost Kerry. He would smile his big smile to know his RT staff and Faculty have carried his work forward! They have used what they learned from him and continue to serve their students well. An honor to Kerry! Hugs to his family.

Kerry you will be missed by the countless lives your touched. I will always remember you as a kind, caring and gentle soul. You always took the extra time to connect with all of your colleagues and it made a lasting impact on all of us. I will forever cherish the conversations we had about the RT profession and your vision for the future.

From the moment I applied to the Respiratory Therapy program, I was so nervous for my Interview with the director. The infamous Mr. Green, he was so highly respected, I feared him. But the moment he called me to his office, I was comfortable, he was kind, considerate, and a gentle spirit. He understood my challenges and overlooked them to invite me to the program. He will always be in my mind the man who gave me a chance, He continuously encouraged me in the program. But more than just the program, his understanding and sensitivity lead me to overcome far more than the program itself. His belief that I could... become stronger than the challenges against me. He helped me believe in myself. I never told him what it meant to me for him to see the diamond in the rough. I know I was not the only student he did that for. He was our teddy bear, although he meant business, I will always have a special place in my heart for Mr. Green, for the man he was and the teacher not only in Respiratory but also life lessons he helped me learn. I hope to pay that forward. I will forever miss you Mr. Green. I hope you know what you meant to us and I hope we make you proud. My deepest condolences to Mr. Green's family, He was the best !!!

I will always remember Mr. Green's good-humored nature. He was one person who always made me smile. His kind spirit will be missed by all who knew him. For those who didn't have the privilege of working with him, learning from him, or just being near him- Kerry Green was the kind of person you wanted on your team.

Peace be to you and your family Kerry.

Kerry Green was a gentle and kind person; but there’s probably no one at SJVC who didn’t know that. Kerry was always there to lend a hand on any project, a sympathetic ear to any problem, and a smile to any situation. His sense of humor was contagious and people just naturally gravitated toward him. I know I speak for so many people when I say that I will very much miss running into Kerry in the upstairs hallways, sharing stories, and basking in that amazing smile. Kerry - you were a true inspiration to us all and I'm certain you'll inspire all of Heaven as well.

I have only known Kerry for a couple of years. Always looked forward to running into him in the hallways at break time. Always, I mean always had a smile on his face, and he brighten my day. I will miss that. He is my fellow Air Force vet. It was a honor to know him. Kerry, may you forever rest in peace.

I will miss those morning or afternoon greetings that he would give as he passed my open door. His smile and wave as we passed in the hallway. You will be truly missed. R.I.P Mr. Green. .

When I think of Kerry I picture him with a twinkle in his eye, a smile on his face and nothing but kind words to say. He was the kindest man I have ever known. He will be missed terribly by so many at SJVC and in the Respiratory community. Rest in Peace, Kerry.

I have worked with Kerry for many years at the school. He was always so kind to me as well as to others around him. He always had that little smile on his face. I would sometime ask him "is that smile because you're happy or you're thinking of causing trouble?" He would just smile a little bigger and laugh. I'm going to miss him and I know so will everyone else!

Kerry you will be missed. It was an honor working with you and getting to know a true kind and hardworking man who always had the best and kind words to say about his RT employees. Kerry you will be remembered as a ray of sunshine that was always cheerful and never had no malice towards anyone. You and I shared birthday candles the same day. I will celebrate both of our birthdays every year with a smile and remembering what an awesome man you were.

I feel honored and blessed to have been able to meet such a wonderful person like Kerry. I did not work with Kerry directly, but whenever I did see him he would tell me hello and ask how I was doing. His hellos meant a lot to me and I appreciated his kind gesture. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and anyone who has been blessed to have met him. You are missed Kerry.

Although I only knew Kerry a year he made SJVC a better place to be, holding students and instructors to high standards, and always willing to lend an ear. His legacy will live on at SJVC and the practices he instilled in me will continue with me and everyone he worked with for the rest of my life. Rest in Peace.

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving; considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. (James 3:17)
Kerry was an example of these words. His gentle spirit and unfailing kindness will leave a lasting impression on me.

A happier times.

December 25, 2017

Just found out about Kerry’s passing in 2016.  So sad as he was my best friend in high school (and his best man).  We had many interesting events in high school and Air Force Reserves together.

I lost touch with Kerry as I pursued my foreign work.

I am touched by the comments left of his respiratory coworkers.  That is the Kerry I knew.   I’m proud to have known him in his younger days.

RIP Kerry
