From the moment I applied to the Respiratory Therapy program, I was so nervous for my Interview with the director. The infamous Mr. Green, he was so highly respected, I feared him. But the moment he called me to his office, I was comfortable, he was kind, considerate, and a gentle spirit. He understood my challenges and overlooked them to invite me to the program. He will always be in my mind the man who gave me a chance, He continuously encouraged me in the program. But more than just the program, his understanding and sensitivity lead me to overcome far more than the program itself. His belief that I could... become stronger than the challenges against me. He helped me believe in myself. I never told him what it meant to me for him to see the diamond in the rough. I know I was not the only student he did that for. He was our teddy bear, although he meant business, I will always have a special place in my heart for Mr. Green, for the man he was and the teacher not only in Respiratory but also life lessons he helped me learn. I hope to pay that forward. I will forever miss you Mr. Green. I hope you know what you meant to us and I hope we make you proud. My deepest condolences to Mr. Green's family, He was the best !!!
