Kevin Brian McGinness, 61, of Beverly Massachusetts passed away on Thursday.
Kevin was born in January of 1960 in Beverly Massachusetts, the son of the late John and Francis McGinness, the youngest of 6 children. Kevin graduated Beverly High School and would go on to become a salesman by profession.
Kevin had a passion for music. A lifelong guitarist and pianist, Kevin could be found throughout the summer on the front porch of the family cottage in Hampton Beach performing to his own small crowd of passersby. Whether playing his famous renditions of Steamroller and Superstitious or hamming it up with an over-the-top guitar solo in Johnny B. Goode; Kevin was never far from his guitar.
Kevin is survived by his former wife Patricia McGinness and their children: Breanne Boudreau (husband George), Aubrey M. Dearden (husband Chad), and Dalton McGinness (wife Colleen); Brothers John “Bill” McGinness and Lawrence McGinness; His sisters Mary Roberts, Kathleen Bright, and Eileen Minior; and his grandchildren Brantley and Bodhi Boudreau.
Due to current circumstances, services will be held privately by his family.
