His Life
October 1, 2013

The only thing bigger than the smile on Kevin Creegan's face was the heart he shared with those he loved most. He was the kind of man who would take the shirt off of his back for you before you even asked. Stubborn to a fault and loyal to those he loved, to know his love, was to know a trust, and connection, few others could imitate.

He was a loving brother to his only sister, Diane, whom he had just celebrated the life and passing of earlier this year in Florida with his niece, Melissa, her husband, Justin, and his great niece Ashley. Only son to Mathew and Katherine Creegan, Kevin was a loving son to both his parents whom he now re-joins in Heaven along with his sister, Diane.

He was a skilled carpenter with a successful business who loved southern rock music, his son, Justin Creegan, whom he lovingly raised with Justin's mother, Marguerite whom he loved very much. Justin was the light of his life until the day he died. Their connection is what every father and son can only hope to emulate; conceived out of genuine love and respect for one another.

Family was always the most important thing to Kevin. He worked very hard and dedicated a big portion of his life towards helping those in need with his work on Extreme Home Makeover, where he worked around the clock building a home for those less fortunate than he. Kevin was in a loving committed relationship with his girlfriend of many years, Randy, and her sons became second family to Kevin. He was a lifelong associate and celebrated best friend to William Saunders who was always by his side and was the brother he never had. They celebrated many holidays over the years with William's lovely family.

He was survived by his loving family which include his son, Justin, his Aunt Rosemary, and his loving niece, Melissa Ann.

He was cremated at City Funeral Services in Yonkers, NY and committed into his family plot at Gate of Heaven cemetery immediately following a funeral mass conducted by Father Michael Doyle whom was a close cousin to his late mother, Katherine. He will forever be missed.
