There are so many stories, it's hard to choose. But I remember all the times sitting around listening to songs that he had heard on the radio and thought were fummy. Or all the times when I got upset that he would sit me down and talk to me and tell me everything was and would be ok because he was there to make sure of it. He would always know what to say and when to say it. I remember going to the hospital to see him and he always had his rich smile, laugh and humor. He was a huge influence on my life and this has been the hardest year of my life. But he is always on my mind and in my heart. And now, in his memory, my son is carrying on his middle name. I will always love and miss you grampa. Forever and always.
