Kevin was hired a few months after I began at the Museum and he and I hit it off immediately. A sparkling wit, a keen observer and a possessed of a generosity of spirit-- Kevin was quickly trained in all aspects of the security department and was put in charge of upgrading all the cameras. This put an end to my acrobatic stair jumps *sigh*. It was the beginning of a career that made a positive and lasting contribution to the MFAH and to all of the people whose lives he touched. When I came back to work at the Museum I was delighted that Kevin would be my boss. His common sense, respectful, insightful and open approach to leadership seems rare and I have supreme and abiding regard for him. Thank you "Rober Kebbie" you are loved and will be missed. Until we meet again. My deepest condolences to the Rapp Family.

I was so very blessed to have worked with and for such a great person and very dear friend. I can’t tell you how much fun it was to work with him and our little Security Team. Kevin was always fair, worked very hard, and made time for all of us. Even when we made mistakes, he was quick to assure that honest mistakes can be repaired. He was professional, yet, he made work fun. He had such a wonderful sense of humor and was never too busy to laugh. He was quite the prankster. I never had any brothers, but I always told him working with this group must be what it’s like to have brothers! He was a wonderful family man who adored his wife and children. We all miss him so much and the Lord gifted us with knowing him. Praying for comfort for his whole family.

I had the great honor of being Kevin's next door neighbor for many years at work and offering my assistance if needed when his Office Manager was out. In return he would kindly and generously offer his Scare Tactic Training when I least expected. He enjoyed scarring me and watching me throw my things in the air. I realized that he was teaching me to be alert of my surroundings. He was a very professional and knowledgeable person. Always happy and kind. He will be greatly missed. The Rapp Family are in my Prayers.

I have known Kevin for so many years and as a department head, confided and discussed many things in confidence. He was trusted, knowledgeable and imparted great advice when needed. Of course, it wasnt all seriousness all the time - we had a lot of fun giving each other a hard time. Kevin will be surely missed at the MFA.

I knew Kevin for the length of his career with the museum. Watched him grow thru the ranks. The one thing I will remember the most about him was his smile and his quick wit. He was a "gentle giant" of a man and will be sorely missed by all who crossed his path. My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife & children and his loved ones. I'm going to miss you my dear friend. It was an honor to have known you.

I always thank KEVIN for trusting and believing in me. The knowledge and wisdom he has imparted to me have been a great help and support throughout my career. Kevin had a wonderful sense of humor, and I loved to make him laugh.I will always miss his enthusiastic spirit and his calming voice and presence. It was an absolute honor to have worked with you.

I have had the honor of working with Kevin from the time he started as a security officer until his passing. When Kevin started working with the MFAH, I was able to watch him work his way up through the ranks. He was the easiest person to get along with. Throughout our years of working with one another, we talked about things we did as kids and young adults and saw we were alike in some ways. When Kevin became a father, he would share stores of his kids and as a father I could relate with him. Kevin and I had many moments while working together, we laugh a lot and at times we coached each other. On many occasions, other museum co-workers were not safe coming by our offices because of our pranks with one another. Thank you Lord for giving me the opportunity of getting to know him and working with him and now he has a bigger job to do and that’s being the Guardian Angel over Ami and the kids.
