Just sitting here thinking of your Father and his Mother going home to be with the LORD on the same date. What a miracle to picture JESUS holding their hands taking them to the heavenly FATHER . So much love the FATHER has for them they are truely blessed. I know you will miss them forever, but they have left you with so many precious memories and they will continue to live on in your heart. As you remember them with happy sad tears ( because you will miss them forever) also remember GOD gave you a great , and caring Dad and also a very special Grandmother.

You and family be at peace as you prepare to say goodbye to your love ones knowing that they are at home resting in the arms of JESUS.

My love and prayers sent that GOD will comfort your heart with HIS peace and presence in the coming days and always.

The man we celebrate today is my GodPa. He and my father were the best of friends and thick as thieves. They will now get to run their game together in heaven.

My GodPa was always there for my cousins as a good father. He was kind to all and lived his life the way he wanted too. God bless GodPa.

Love always your God Son,

Dad/Daddy/10-10

Shared by Family And friends on November 24, 2022
You are my hero. You raised me and taught me everything I know.  You will always be in my heart and it will never be the same without you. I vividly remember you going to work every day to work hard for me, Kevin, Simone and Sheena. You always said “do what I say, not what I do” and believe me, when I made bad choices you said, “Let her learn from them, she can learn from her mistakes”. I remember running home from school just so I can go skating and avoid doing my homework, but daddy said, “Leave her she would learn”. I remember going to your job and all your colleagues saying, “10-10, who is this 5-5, she is just like you, WOW we have to look out for her”. So from that day on everywhere we went, people would say 10-10, 5-5, it’s good to see you. The respect and love that people had for you was amazing, especially when they saw that you were raising three girls and one boy, you are my KING.
I want to say thank you for allowing the neighbors to help you to raise us. Our homestead was located on North Shore, North Court Avenue and we lived on the top of the hill. I would like to say from the bottom of my heart a big thank you to BettyAnn and Anthony, Tanya and Damon Simmons, the Burgess’, the Harris’, the Outerbridge’s, the Davis’, the Adderly’s, the Rowlins’, the Spencers’, the Dyer’s, the Weeks, the DeSilva’s, the Gilbert’s, The Honorable D. Neletha Butterfield, M.B. E., J.B. and the Smith’s families. We were all family and as we became adults we kept in touch. I also remember going for rides in the taxi to Cox’s Hill, up uncle brother Richardson’s mother house and the Frith’s. That’s where we spent most of our time and then became family.
There was never a time we went without, you gave us everything. I fondly remember my 16th birthday. You got me a Red Honda Lead bike and I got a friend of mine to put a lion on the front and you said to me, “do you like the lion on it and I said yes, then he said “ok”. I thought he was going to be mad because it was a new bike, but to true fashion 10-10 was humble and said “ok”.
My memories can go on and on and on, but you will be forever in my heart. See you again soon, my King.
