I am saddened by the loss to the earth, but will always think of how every time I saw Sweet Comfort perform, the quiet awesome bass player gave such a powerful witness. I will get to know him there.
We had a white-knuckle ride hanging on to the Holy Spirit in the 70s. Kevin was a rock and a real encouragement to me many times. I'm not going to get all schmaltzy. It's just about midnight!
It has been 30 years since I met Kevin the first time, but we will share eternity together, kevin was a man who in his confudence brought joy and encouragement, see you soon my brother
Kevin was such a blessing to so many. Many souls were saved due to Kevin's presentation of the Gospel. Until we join him, I will miss seeing him just bounce as he played! Until then Kevin...
Though I didn't know Kevin personally, my life and ministry as a bass player was greatly impacted by him. Kevin, you will be greatly missed but we'll see you again! Play, Kevin, play!
Thanking the Lord for how he used you in your ministry of music on this earth Kevin. Looking forward to the day when we will all be worshipping at the feet of Jesus...Grace and Peace to your family.
Your patience with me in the early years taught me later on to be the same way with others. Your work done here on earth was with grace, respect and honor. Now is your time to be comforted. Thanks Kev
May God comfort Kevin's family, and SCB. Kevin reached so many people, and I am so grateful for the many opportunities that I was able to blessed by seeing the band.
I see Kevin at the edge of the stage in the Swing Auditorium in the seventies, talking to the kids in my youth group... like a friend... after the music...
Thank you for your patience with me. I am glad you have a new heavenly body. You were loved here on earth now go play Pac-man to your hearts delight. Save a roll of quarters for me. God Bless
I saw SCB play publicly together for the first time in a short acoustic set t CCRIVERSIDE in 1973. We so often say Rest In Peace; how glorious to know that Kevin truly is.
Kevin was a friend and an extremely kind man. I spent a lot of time with his two sons Josh and Eli and got the privelege to know Kevin and Robin. I know he loved his boys he was their biggest fan.
my love and prayers go to robin and the boys and SCB. My memories of watching you guys together are great ones! God gave Kevin a gift and he is now rejoicing with Jesus!! Amen!
"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him" 1Cor 2:9 Lord, continue your care over his family till they meet again
It was my honor and privilege to know Kevin for a short time. He will always live on in our hearts and minds. My deepest condolences go out to his family of brothers and sisters in Christ.
Another "Jesus Musician" has gone home to be with his Lord. My prayers to Kevin's family and his brother Rick...Kevin didn't pass away, the Lord just promoted him. See you in the kingdom, brother.
I'm thankful for Kevin's life .. And though I'm sad for those who will miss him tremendously, I'm happy to know he has been promoted to Glory and is waiting for the rest of us to join him someday!
I met Kevin in 1977 in San Jose. Ran into him many times over the years and will always remember him driving that equipment truck. Will miss you Kevin. Bass work on Breaking the Ice is the BEST.
Kevin seem like a wonderful person who had a passion and love for the Lord. Wished I had known him. His heart and spirit will live on with the Sweet Comfort Band. God Bless..
Your music blessed my life Kevin. Looking forward to seeing you in the presence of the Lord....and watching you create new music on the new Earth one day.
You'll be missed so much, Kevin. I was just one of hundreds watching you play at Calvary Chapel Riverside. The first time I heard you guys play I wanted to hear you everyday.
It's most surreal. I remember meeting at AgapeFest in Greenville, IL a number of years ago. Blessings to his family. We all will miss him, but none as deeply as you.
Kevin was a quick friend to all those he met along the way. He was a great ambassador for our Lord Jesus and a great brother as well as a tremendous musical talent.
Kev, No one stayed as focused on their faith as did you. what a triumpant statement your life has been my friend. and your example of courage in the face of hardship was astonishing. Pain is over!
