1994-2000:

Coordinatorfor network, lobbying and research, UST (Unnayan Shahojogy Team). Responsible for coordination of network, advocacy, policy lobbying, social mobilization and research activities carried out by UST focusing on women empowerment, integrated water management especially the Flood Action Plan(FAP), ecological agriculture and other environmental and development issues. Additional responsibilities included coordination and supervision of graduate-study internship of foreign students in Bangladesh, organization of workshops, seminars and representation of UST in national and international forum.

1991-1993:

Research Associate, UBINIG (Policy Research for Development Alternatives), concurrently Assistant Coordinator of Srama Bikash Kendra (Trade Union Education Center), UBINIG. Responsibilities included participation in research projects and regular contribution in Chinta, fortnightly journal of UBINIG. Through Srama Bikash Kendra organized meeting, rally and workshop for garment workers to make workers aware about their rights.
