Aunt Kim,
You touched the lives of so many and I feel so fortunate to have had you as a loving Aunt and cherished friend. Your love of life was always apparent and so was your love of family. You have been a guardian angel to all of us cousins at various points in time, quietly sharing your love and support. You were an amazing Great-Aunt to Benjamin and Hadley and they loved you dearly. I am heartbroken that Harper will not have your presence in her life but I know that your love and influence will be passed on to her through Ron, Ashley, Kelley and the rest of your family.
I admired in you your energy, compassion, determination, decisiveness, and generosity of spirit- to family, friends, campers, and all living things. I am struck by the sincere interest you had in the world and the people around you, allowing you to converse easily and warmly with all people. It was a joy to be around you. You were never afraid to speak your mind, usually with keen humor, in order to provide leadership, guidance or levity to those fortunate enough to know you.
You are already missed so much. This week has been filled with thoughts of telling or sharing something with you, only to then face the sad reminder that I can do so no more, except in my heart and mind. I love you so much.
