Kirk was hit and killed by a truck as he tried to cross the road.  He died instantly.   Kirk was born in  Tennessee, moved to California with his family.  He graduated from Carpinteria High School, Carpinteria, California.  Later he returned to Tennessee.  He was an employee of Lowe's in Hermitage.  He was married twice which sadly ended in divorce both times.   Kirk left behind his Mother, 1 sister, brother-in-law, 2 brothers, sister-in-law, 4 nieces, 1 nephew,2 great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to grieve for him.                                 Kirk was laid to rest in Hermitage Memorial Gardens, Old Hickory, Tennessee.
