Her Life
May 11, 2019

Kong , was born Esther [in honor of late Ma Esther of Kumba , aunt of late governor Ntuba ] in answer to persistent prayers from her mother , Tecla Fule Ntuba[late]  , widow of Late Pa George Ntua Ntuba , senior brother of the late governor Ntuba  in the Month of October 1982 .

She was especially loved by her immediate senior brother , late George Ntuba Ntuba , father of Maturain Banyeh Ntuba , who showed great interest and care for her , when he came back to live with his mother from Fako division .

As a young little girl , she was fond of play and smiling around . She was special as an only girl among many boys .

She went to school in Kumba and Buea .

After GCE passes , she was sent for health care training by her senior brother DR AKWO THOMPSON NTUBA , who had assumed the care taking role of father over her , sponsoring her during most of her school years  .

After her health care training , she was employed at Bethel health foundation by her brother in his health and medical practice , where she contributed in the health care of patients .

She was sent on home health care assignments often while working with her brother father , Dr Akwo Thompson Ntuba .

She fondly remembers joining her brother to attend to the first aid needs of chiefs at their general assembly meeting in Kumba Cameroon  .

She was later added the name Ruth in honor of the junior sister of late George Ntuba , her step father .

She gave birth to her first son and child Alex Beckly , who was taken care of by her mom , mami Fule Tecla while she returned to her studies , as they lived with aunt Sarah Ntuba in the famous Ntuba green house In Kumba town .

She used some of her salary from work with her brother , to pay for the fee of Alex in Victory school , owned by Mrs Beatrice Mbone Ntuba .

When her mother became sick, she , Alex , and her mother were  moved by Dr Ntuba to live with him , so he could take care of them all under the same roof with his wife , Judge Beatrice Bea Ntuba .

Kong lived with her Cousins from Littoral , in Douala while taking care of her mom who was getting medical care in the reference hospital in Douala .

She married her husband Donnie Atem , with whom she got three children , two boys and one girl .

She was involved in giving spiritual care to many , who called her spiritual mother .

She died in Douala Cameroon on the 21st of MARCH 2019 in the general hospital .
