Kong , was born Esther [in honor of late Ma Esther of Kumba , aunt of late governor Ntuba ] in answer to persistent prayers from her mother , Tecla Fule Ntuba[late] , widow of Late Pa George Ntua Ntuba , senior brother of the late governor Ntuba in the Month of October 1982 .
She was especially loved by her immediate senior brother , late George Ntuba Ntuba , father of Maturain Banyeh Ntuba , who showed great interest and care for her , when he came back to live with his mother from Fako division .
As a young little girl , she was fond of play and smiling around . She was special as an only girl among many boys .
She went to school in Kumba and Buea .
After GCE passes , she was sent for health care training by her senior brother DR AKWO THOMPSON NTUBA , who had assumed the care taking role of father over her , sponsoring her during most of her school years .
After her health care training , she was employed at Bethel health foundation by her brother in his health and medical practice , where she contributed in the health care of patients .
She was sent on home health care assignments often while working with her brother father , Dr Akwo Thompson Ntuba .
She fondly remembers joining her brother to attend to the first aid needs of chiefs at their general assembly meeting in Kumba Cameroon .
She was later added the name Ruth in honor of the junior sister of late George Ntuba , her step father .
She gave birth to her first son and child Alex Beckly , who was taken care of by her mom , mami Fule Tecla while she returned to her studies , as they lived with aunt Sarah Ntuba in the famous Ntuba green house In Kumba town .
She used some of her salary from work with her brother , to pay for the fee of Alex in Victory school , owned by Mrs Beatrice Mbone Ntuba .
When her mother became sick, she , Alex , and her mother were moved by Dr Ntuba to live with him , so he could take care of them all under the same roof with his wife , Judge Beatrice Bea Ntuba .
Kong lived with her Cousins from Littoral , in Douala while taking care of her mom who was getting medical care in the reference hospital in Douala .
She married her husband Donnie Atem , with whom she got three children , two boys and one girl .
She was involved in giving spiritual care to many , who called her spiritual mother .
She died in Douala Cameroon on the 21st of MARCH 2019 in the general hospital .
She leaves behind many family members including the Husband and children , the Eyembes , from Among who was her biologic father .
