It is with deep regret we announce the passing of our beloved Konrad Ulich, father, grandfather, pediatrician and friend to all who knew him.

Snow fell on Malibu the same day Konrad Ulich passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 94. He was born in Dresden, German and immigrated to the United States to join his father, a professor at Harvard School of Education. He moved to California in 1958. He was a renowned Pediatric Doctor at Facey Medical Group along with his wife Gisela, also a doctor. He and Gisela raised three sons in Sherman Oaks before moving to Malibu in 1981.

Konrad was a mentor to many and inspired all to do better and be better.He loved reading the newspaper, his community and dining with his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion.

We will miss him every day, but he will live on in our hearts and in our deeds as we to try our best to follow his example to do good while we are here on Earth .

He is survived by his sons Thomas, Andrew and David and Grandchildren Katarina and Konrad, Robert and Christine, and Becky and Andy and 3 great great grandchildren.  

In lieu of flowers we ask that you help someone in need and/or donate to Alzheimers Association in honor of his wife Gisela who predeceased him in 2011 after battling Alzheimers.
