Kristie Anne Upton passed away February 28, 2015 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, NY.  Born in Newfane, NY on February 25, 1978, she is the daughter of Melody (Mike Gardepe) Pearce of Lockport, NY and George (Robin) Upton of Sanborn, NY. 


Kristie was a 1996 graduate of Newfane High School, being awarded three Presidential Acedemic Achievement Awards and the Teacher's Association Scholarship, and was a member of the Who's Who High School, and the National Honor Society. 


She then went on to college and recieved two associate degrees from Niagara County Community College in Liberal Arts of Humanities and Social Sciences and Crimial Justice, earning the Distinguished Student Scholarship. 

She was a team leader in the Safety Net Call Center at Univera.  


She served as the Awards Chairperson for the Boy Scouts Pack 47. 


Kristie was a huge Buffalo Bills and Ransomville Speedway fan, spending many Friday nights there with her son.  She also enjoyed boating with her mother and step-father and spending afternoons at Grass Island and watching beautiful sunsets on the Niagara River.   She also enjoyed country music, but most of all, she treasured the time that she spent with her son and her family and friends.  Kristie's beautiful smile and laughter will be deeply missed by all that had the privilege and pleasure to know her.
