Obituary

Kristine Lyn Constantino, 33, Cortland native, died March 13, 2011 in Kettenpom, California, along with her boyfriend and soul mate Christopher Sky Richardson. She was born November 8, 1977 in Batavia, NY, daughter of Ronald and Lynda Constantino.

Kristine came to the Cortland area with her family at an early age attending Barry Elementary School, graduating from Cortland High School in 1996, and voted “Class Clown” her senior year. During high school, she enjoyed lacrosse, field hockey, and soccer. After graduation she attended college where she received an associate’s degree. Kristine moved to California in 2006, where she was currently residing. Her family and friends will remember her as being a carefree spirit who possessed a great awareness of her surroundings. She was an amazingly beautiful young lady who always had a smile on her face. She was an animal lover, and an idealist who loved life and her family. She always loved an adventure and was always pushing the limits with everything she encountered. She expressed this inner strength through Yoga and self meditation. Kristine enjoyed organic cooking and gardening, also traveling the world. She enjoyed experiencing new cultures and their people. She had a firecracker personality and loved to have fun!

 

She is survived by her mother Lynda Constantino of Port Charlotte, Fl., her brothers Jeffery Ronald (Pimjai) Constantino of Cortland, Brian Vincent Constantino of Cortland, her niece and nephews Matthew, Nicholas, Gianna, Naris, and Anand, aunts, uncles, cousins, former sister in law Tira Constantino, and her dog “Happy”.  

 

Kristine was predeceased by her fatherRonald Constantino,   in 2005.

 

Calling hours will be 1-5pm Sunday March 27, at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Lincoln Ave Cortland NY 13045.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated10 am Monday March 28, at St. Anthony’s Church, Cortland with a prayer service 9:15 am at the funeral home.

 

 In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kristine's memory to the Cortland County SPCA
