The late Kwaku Godwin Dovlo was born on Wednesday 30th June 1954 to Dumega Daniel Adzei Dovlo, of blessed memory and Amegashie Aklikashie Seshie of the Royal Seshie/Dumashie/Kudzawu families of Wuga-Zomayi/Dzelukope. His father was a well-known and respected Chief Fisherman and in his lifetime, the Head of the Dovlo Family and the family’s traditional fishing company. Kwaku or Egor as he was more commonly known in the family was the eldest of his father’s children.
