My fondest memory of Kwan is the time when he and I took a trip to the store. I pull up attempt to open his door but it is stuck. So I run in the store grab our items come back out, and totally space the closing the door. Pull of drive up the street turn the corner and he falls out. (He was a tiny little something even at the age of 3.) The crossing guard and some others see this transpire so they are screaming "yoooooo he fell out" . He running to the car gets in and says to me "momma you was about to leave me". I respond no I wasn't.  Years later, I smile and cry cause ultimately he left me. Happy birthday Pete.
