Stephanie & family,
Mike was such a special man and will be missed by so many. I had the good fortune of competing against him many times in pool. I always enjoyed those "battles". He was always smiling and you would never know whether he had won or lost from looking at his smile. A great guy and I'm better for having known him. He left a great legacy in all of you. He will be with you always.
Sincerely, Carter Smith

To the Deese family.. my heartfelt love to you as these days go on and you remember everything to the littlest details about your father, brother, grandfather. So many people touch lives but we only get a few that touch our souls in ways no one else can see. He was that person that no matter how you felt he made sure you felt blessed. He would bring a smile on anyone's face and give you hell at the same time while laughing, The thought that runs through my mind was one of his comments "Your not playing me? But your a 6 sandbagger" His last comment and the last time I saw him before Christmas never really stuck out until now.. " Cindy, Have the best Christmas and New Year, it will get better" I believe whole heartedly it will especially with him watching over all of us.
