How is it that the time goes by so fast? How is it that a beautiful young rough collie can unite so many so quickly across the world? How is it that such cruelty can go unpunished? So many questions….what are the answers sweet boy?
I believe the answers are many… some personal, some individual, some global, some private, some in prayer, some in action. I know that for me Lad, you are a compelling, loving heartfelt answer…that beautiful loving, trusting face, that spirited, plumed tail wagging for no other reason perhaps than unconditional love, hope, faith and joy. An unseen face in humanity? Someone will come someone…thank God for all of those someone’s. Thank God for you beautiful boy, your faith and unconditional love brought us together to make a stand, to stand for change, to stand for you and the many more like you. I realize you would be only 8 years old in this year 2021. What food, sniffs, plays and love could you have experienced during this time that was stolen from you? We will never know exactly, of course, although they would have been the best possible under the circumstances.

Well Lad...i am truly sorry i will miss your online groups memorial this year especially in my LAD: never just a dog group but the powers of control has taken me down....
I hope your spirit knows i have not, nor could i ever, forgot/forget you. You have been my savior thru n thru in more than one incident but im afraid this time theres nothing that will help overcome this.

You are and always will be a part of me. You will always be held close in my heart. I look at your photo every day that hangs on my wall and feel a peace...im sure it must be the type of peace your spirit has bcuz its different than my normal feeling of peace. Your paw print and your bib still adorn my headboard where i can reach out and touch at anytime, especially in time of need. You are always close by for me in one way or the other.

Physically you have moved on but forever in my heart you live, always and forever to be my hero....7 years now and i still draw upon the strength and determination you showed. I love you dearly sweet LAD, always and forever to use Rebeccas phrase "LIVE LOVE LAD" and i want to say thank you, thank you for reminding me on soooo many occasions that having determination is a huge part of moving forward no matter what.
Go run as free as the wind in your heavenly after life as much as you want. There will be one day (God willing) that i will SYOTOS....❤❤❤

Oh Lad...our sweet gallant boy. What an impact one brave and loving little collie could have on so many in so many places of this world. From the time we first met you to now has passed too quickly. You would have been seven this year. So many had a part in trying to save your life but it was not to be...God’s ways are higher than our own. He called you Home to His side and showed us through your passing what must be done. I am glad to say in my own state that stricter laws have been passed and I know in other places here and around the world the same has happened. You did this Lad. For the love of a beautiful young collie the world has changed. If not for you nothing could have sparked the bright light you did. You brought light into the darkness of neglect and abuse and because of you laws have changed and lives have been saved. ❤️
