Today I remembered was your last day on earth, I recall the times I was shocked and amazed at the things I witnessed you pull off. You would be proud of your daughter she stepped up to the plate and she shocked and amazed us with the things she was able to pull off. I guess it's true the apple does not fall far from the tree. Phil (Carls's brother) celebrated his and Carl's birthday yesterday unfortunately Carl wasn't here to celebrate with him. But Phil is comforted knowing it came full circle 2 years ago yesterday and all the material things don't mean anything now, after losing Carl, it's knowing he got to say goodbye and tell him he loved him which is worth more to him than any possessions.

Happy birthday Ladelle, my beautiful friend! I believe God had you come and visit with me for that weekend a few days before you passed so we could share those moments. We had beautiful conversations and serious discussions about life. We laughed and cried together. I will not forget those words you said to me.. Believe me, I felt it and knew it was half you and half my dad.  Give Carl a big hug from me. ❤️ You always gave so much .. you are truly missed and loved! ☺️ I miss your voice. Happy happy birthday my friend! Ladelle was such a sweet person. She has a smile and a laugh that was contagious. She will be truly missed. RIP Ladelle. Kelly
