Lady Mary Magdalene was born into the family of Okpidu Ochoido on the 26th October, 1951 in Ugene Ichewu Okpiko, Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State.

Lady Mary got married to Sir Alfred Adakole Anyiloibi in 1966 and the union was blessed with 8 wonderful children, all grown up and some working to the Glory of God before she passed on.

Mama as she was fondly called not only by her children but by lots of people that she has touched their heart warmly, friends and wel-wishers, was a highly devoted WOMAN OF GODL with the fear of the Lord.

Mama served her community and she was a member of Catholic Christian Societies, her responsibilities she took whole heartedly and diligently until her death. She was the vice chairlady of SS Peter ad Paul Idoma Catholic Community U/Sunday Chapter, a Prayer Warrior in the Charismatic Christian Renewal of St charles Lwanga, U/Sunday Chapter. She was the former chairlady of Okpiko Married Women Wing, Kaduna State Chapter, she was a member of Christian Mothers Association both English and Idoma. Mama was the Matron of the Okpiko Married WomenWing, Kaduna State Chapter till the time of her death.

Lady Mary loves to sing Christian songs both in Idoma and English and she loves and believes so much in the Holy Rosary with all her heart and she never ceased to encourage us to always pray the Rosaryin every little chance we get, that we cannot begin to imagine the wonders in praying the Holy Rosary.

Lady Mary Magdalene died on the 23rd August, 2012 after a brief illness. We miss you Mama, we love you so much but god loves you more. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace, Amen.
