And just like that, nine years time has passed. Eternity is how long we are remembered. Hope the stage is bright up there today.

Seven long years gone by now, Lady Pearl. We forever remember your talent, wonderful sense of humor, your compassion, and wit. I hope they have drag shows in outer space, and put you in charge and pay you in stars. Here's my memory of you in performance: https://youtu.be/vwqYXHywyQY

Wow. Six years have gone by. Gainesville could really use your humor and wit right now. Rest in Performance, because I know you're out there somewhere doing the biggest show on the biggest stage. We miss you, and we won't forget you. This is one of the best written stories in your memory by the great writer, Zach Schlein: http://thefineprintmag.org/our-fair-lady/

Lady Pearl, I will never forget the fun you brought to my life. Collaborating with you in performance and giving audiences something challenging and exciting to see will be moments I will cherish forever. You were world class in life and no doubt, you continue to entertain on a cosmic stage worthy of all your many talents. Goodbye but not farewell.

Lady Pearl was the first drag queen I had ever met. I went to UC during the day and loved it and found myself going back one Thursday evening. Seeing my first drag show BLEW my mind and she picked me out of the crowd and picked on me..BAD!!! I feel in love with Pearl and drag on that spot. Later on, I started working at UC doing the spot light for the shows, and eventually became her drag room 'manager.' I've always told people that Lady Pearl will pick on you, tease you, make you feel one inch tall...and you'll love EVERY second of it. She and my brother, Lady Chase, always picked on each other's shows, but they 'secretly' loved each other. Pearl attended my brother's funeral 3 years ago and, while trying not to break down, spoke of their friendship.

Lady Pearl, you have been, and always will be, my friend. I love you so much more than I ever told you. A piece of my heart is missing, but I know you and Lady Chase are planning one heck of a drag show in heaven.
