We consider ourselves as the luckiest on Earth, because we were fortunate enough to enjoy a mother's love. BIRTH AND PARENTAGE: Late Lady Monica Nwanenne Ogbonna ( LSM) Nee Ajuzie..(aka Longlife) was born on August 12th 1952 into the family of late Ezinna Josiah Ajuzie and Late Ezinne Cecilia Nwaugo Ajuzie of Umuogba No 1 of Uzi/ Amizi Autonomous Community Olokoro Umuahia in Umuahia South L.G.A of Abia State of Nigeria. EDUCATION: At the time of her birthday 68yrs Ago, it was a rarity to have parents send their female children to school for any formal education. For Monica's parents it was different knowing the importance of education. They got her enrolled in St Declans School Amizi Olokoro for her primary education where she obtained her standard six certificate in 1964. She proceeded to youths commercial institute Port Harcourt and late Mr Uchegbu's typing school Umuahia for her commercial education. She was good is shorthand and typewritting. After the civil war, she. enrolled as a trainee in fashion and designing until she got married. MARITAL LIFE: In 1971 Lady Monica got married and wedded her husband Late Sir James Ogbonna(KSM). The union was blessed with Eight Children. She succeeded in raising 4 boys 4 girls who now also have families of their own. She also boast of many grandchildren. She stressed at all times the importance of sticking together as one family. The bond that existed between her and members of the Ogbonna's family was a phenomenon that can hardly be explained because of her care, sincerity and trusthworthiness. The worst moment to Lady Monica was seeing her children or any member of the Ogbonna's family sad and she would do whatever was in her power to see us happy again..CHRISTIAN LIFE: Longlife was born into a Catholic family and brought up as a dedicated christian. As a devoted member of the church she took active part in church activities. Her late parents were pioneer members of St Declans Catholic Church Amizi Olokoro and she in her time contributed immensly to the growth of the church. In onitsha she was also a poinerr member of SS Peter and Paul In Pope Awada, Holy Cross Catholic Church Nkpor Anambra state and Holy Cross Catholic Church Olokoro not excluded. Lady Monica was not just chorister but a messenger of God through music with her melodius treble voice. She was highly Committed in her capacity as a chorister. She was a member of St Cecilia's choir, Catholic Women Organization Holy Cross Parish Nkpor and was member of Tuesday Prayer Group Holy Spirit Catholic Parish Omoba Anambra State. She was also A worthy Sister of the Knights of St Mulumba Nigeria. Her Prayer life is worthy of emulation and this she kept till her death. SOCIAL LIFE: Lady Monica was known within and beyond the community. She had always been a simple person, she loved people and they also loved her. She was generous and her generosity was not only expended to her Children rather she extended a helping hand to anyone who needed it often in a manner that after helping you with right hand the Left will not be aware of such a gesture and without anything in return. DEATH: Lady Monica, a very fulfilled mother worthy of emulation was there when the roll was being called and she answered her name on the 29th of April 2021..MAY HER SOUL REST IN PEACE......

Mummy, it’s so hard for me in particular to accept you’re not coming back again. You know there’s nothing I wouldn’t have done to save your life but it seems you already made up your mind to go back to your maker. Keep resting in haven, if I ever have to choose again, it had still be you my amazing mother.
