After my dad's time, Basavanagudi has been my mom's house. Mama was my mom, my dad, rolled into one. I felt disturbed, I told Jags(she was every ready. Bless her) and we would meet there at 2.30. have coffee, some snacks, come home in the evening. Same routine when I'm happy. If I needed to buy a saree, many a times, jags, mama and me would meet at taneira. What a fabulous time we would have. I completely finished my saree shopping for Shreyas wedding. He called me and said I'm not satisfied with your saree selection for Shreyas wedding. Usual Red and green. I want you to buy this saree(he sends me a Vidya Balan picture) I searched all over Chennai and kanjeevaram. Couldn't find. Searched in Bangalore. Finally found in vijaylakshmi. I made a video call to him. His whatsapp was not working. He called lallu. Told her to make the video call from her phone. Came online. He was thrilled. He said buy buy. He then said I want it to go on record, I shopped for your mom's wedding, I shopped for your wedding and now I've shopped for your daughter's wedding. Three generations you see. (I can hear his voice)
