Good Side Of A Storm

July 6, 2014

When  my mother was a child she lived  on a farm in Morgan Mill, Texas. She told many many stories of storms but this one is my favorite.

When the thunder rolled and lighting stikes were over, and the large hail stones were on the ground, she would run and get a bucket and go out in the yard and gather as many hail stones  as she could to fill her bucket. She then washed them and sat  the bucket on the porch  covered with a blanket. The family  would then sit down and enjoy a large glass of iced  tea.
