Lana Dee Webb, 71, of Northport, Florida, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on April 3, 2016.

Ms. Webb, the oldest of four children, was born on September 2, 1944 in Waterville, Maine to the late Manford and Violet Webb. She lived most of her live in Stratford, Connecticut while working as an administrative professional at Southern Connecticut State University until her retirement in 2011. She spent a number of her later years traveling back and forth to her second home in Florida before ultimately moving there post-retirement. She enjoyed reading on her lanai while watching birds, making floral arrangements, and hosting family gatherings. In more recent years, she gained a love of travel. She took trips to Hawaii, New Orleans, the Caribbean Islands, and Ireland among others.

Lana is survived by her three daughters: Deborah Knowles and her husband, Stephen of Torrington, CT, Alicia Banks and her husband Harry, of Stratford, CT, and Melissa Veloce of Northport, Fl; her five granddaughters: Jessica (and Andrew) Komarow, Jennifer Hart, Christina Hart, Kaylee Holroyd, and Elizabeth Banks; her predeceased grandson, Aiden Veloce; and her three siblings: Barry (and Kathy) Webb, Rhonda (and Arden) Vaughan, and Stacy (and Sherry) Webb, as well as several other family members and friends. According to Lana's wishes, a gravesite service will be held at St. Francis Catholic Cemetary in Waterville, Maine on May 14, 2016 at 11:00.
