Landa Reynolds, 78, of Helena, AL passed away on October 6, 2023 peacefully at home.

Landa was born on December 26, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas to Lando Morrison Haddock and Elva Mayfield Haddock. Growing up in a military family, she spoke fondly of living in Alaska and Germany as a child. After Landa graduated from  high school in San Antonio in 1962,  she attended Southwest Texas University and graduated with a BBA in 1967.  It was in college that she met the love of her life, Cecil, and they married in 1965.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, Cecil Reynolds, daughters Suzanne Free and son in law Kent of Helena, AL, daughter Michelle McKenzie and son in law Ken of Denver, Colorado. She was the beloved Grammie to her granddaughters Cameron McKenzie , Loryn Free, and grandson Connor McKenzie.

She also leaves behind sisters Barbara Barker of Bastrop, TX, and Anita Haddock of Houston, TX, and several nieces, cousins and aunts who loved her dearly.

Landa had the joy of being a stay at home mom, and she and Cecil had the amazing opportunities to live in several states and travel all over the country throughout the years. Landa, who was a proud citizen  of the Chickasaw Nation, was incredibly creative and talented. She enjoyed taking pictures (especially of funny signs) and decorating, crafting, and was a beautiful pianist.   Her family loved sitting around the piano and listening to her play. She was sweet, fun and loved to laugh. Her beautiful smile will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
