Her Life

Momma

April 7, 2012

A graduate of Garey High School and long time resident of Pomona, Lenetta Clark, better known as Tina, is a perfect example of the term It Takes A Village to Raise a Child.  Through the love of her four children, Deedra, Dominick, Delyicia, and Tomeka, Tina was the neighborhood mother for any child that befriended her children.  The love continued when her grandchildren arrived and recently the birth of her first great-grandson.  There was no love greater than her love for her children and she would go to the world's end for them.  Tina loved to skate and have a good time.  She always had encouraging words and her heart carried many members.  Even though the Lord has called her home, we will truly miss her smile and quick wit.

My Mother A Rose © Sue Horley A rose so rare,
one of it's kind,
love and beauty a mother,
yes!
mine.
A rose without thorns,
not a petal was torn,
a perfect rose stood straight and tall,
my mother was the most precious of all.
A rose that survived the worst kind of weather and yet the most delicate ever,
a rose with a fragrance,
there could be know other,
you see this rose is my Mother.
A rose is picked and put to dry,
the beauty is still there,
it never dies.
