Mama Laraba was born into the family of Late Maman Lashen and Zulai Lashen. She's the second child of their marriage. Mama had her early education at Matazu after which she proceeded to Kabo girls school on graduating from there she got admission into the pristegious Queens college Illorin. Mama in her Prime and beauty meet Late Musa Shallangwa the love of her life and married him in July 1968. Her lover and husband is a man that loves education, so he pushed and encourage mama to go to school and add more bags. After 3 children mama further went to school of nursing and midwifry and became a successful nurse and mid wife. She retired in February 2011. 
Mama, is a very godly woman, she feared God and obyed the teachings of the Lord especially tithe. She was a good christian mother who lived her life pleasing the Lord. Mama gave Baba 8 beautiful children 7 girls and one boy. These girls and boy are all now parents making mama and baba proud grand parents of 12 children and still counting.
