Lawrence M. “Larry” Meadows , 62, of Hallsville, Texas, died May 8, 2010 , at home surrounded by his family.  He was born January 7, 1948 in Opelousas, Louisiana and was the youngest of 2 siblings. He graduated from Texas A & I University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Gas Engineering.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Gina Meadows; two daughters, Lauren Meadows of Hallsville; and Traci Meadows of Montgomery, Texas; son and daughter –n-law Scott and Neva Meadows of The Woodlands; grandson Tanner Meadows of The Woodlands.  Mr. Meadows was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ethel and Edward Meadows, and brother, Ross Meadows.  

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. at the Rader Funeral Home in Longview, Texas.  In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made in memory of Larry Meadows to the Hearts Way Hospice of Northeast Texas, 1306 Pine Tree Rd, Longview, Texas 75604.
