I met Larry when I was 6 . My mom and him got together and we moved in to an apartment together . It was Larry , my mom ( Darla ), my sister (Nikki ) and I ( Crickett). We had some good times together , always out enjoying nature in the parks. His son Mark was always around and the others were sometimes,besides Tammy as she died shortly after they got together at a young age. I always consieded him my step dad although we had our share of problems. I love his kids as if they were my own brothers and sisters . Although we were closer with Mark and Susan because they were around more.

After I started having my kids they always called him grandpa and he loved them too. Larry went into the hospital shortly before I had my 3rd baby Angel. She was born November 18 ,2000 . Just 8 days before he passed , he kept saying he wanted to see her . She was in the hospital for awhile because she had no  soft spot , but they couldn't find anything wrong. She was then released on November 25 , so we took her to see him . His hands were strapped to the bed so we layed her on his chest and he said she was beautiful and looked like her dad. We then had to leave shortly after as she was a newborn and there were many sick people in there and the doctors didn't want her sick. That was the last time we saw him alive , as he died the very next day before we could get back up there.

Larry Nix was born November 16,1936 to Clyde and Elizabeth Nix. Larry had 2 Brothers : Clyde Nix Jr and Donnie Nix , he had 2 sisters : Virginia Livingston and Betty Fallon . All our now deceased out of this family except for Betty Fallon.  Larry had 6 kids , Boys are Clyde Nix, Larry Nix Jr , Mark Nix and Austin Nix , the girls are Susan Nix and Tammy Nix (Deceased ) . Growing up into a young man Larry served in the army fighting for our country. He had just turned 64 10 days before the Lord took him to rest . Leaving behind loved ones.

His youngest son is now almost 15 , which is my little brother ( Austin Nix).He wanted me to make this for his dad as he was only 4 when his dad left him. He's grown up with out him and not really knowing his other brothers and sisters.
