Hey uncle Larry there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about you and uncle Gene not to mention aunt Ruth and PaPa Homer. And many more of our family that has passed. Really wish you guys were here during the seasons 

It seems like yesterday, though many years ago...we were so close and you always did so many things for me and David when we were kids that we called you 'Uncle Larry'. I remember going to the races, sitting on the top of the bleachers, you bought us hot dogs, popcorn and sodas and even got us into the pit.

You knew many people, some powerful, some influential and some just plain ole people like you and I. You made life fun and interesting when otherwise it was a boring day of life.

Today I remember you not only as my cousin and uncle but as a friend in Christ. I take a look at the change you have made and can visualize you sitting in the church pews...your wings unfolded and your halo began to shine as I could see Gods hand resting on your shoulders, patting you like a Father shows pride in His Son.

Your change then was from sinner to saint and yet today your change is from mortality to immortality. Life as we knew it way back then was a stepping stone to bring us to where you and I came to when God showed His power and mercy on us to bring us to His Grace and Eternal Life.

You kept your word...you kept Gods word and now God has kept His promise to restore you and give you Eternal Rest...No more pain, no more sorrow, no more worries and no more concerns about tomorrow. You have fought a good fight, you have finished the course and you have kept the faith.

I know you must have a beautiful mansion with your name over the door. You won't be hard to find.

All I have to do is be faithful to Gods word and he will take me to the Portals of Heaven where you will be.

Wait for me Uncle Larry... Come talk to me...encourage me and...whisper Heavenly secrets to me and while my head rests on my pillow each night I can have the courage and strength to face the day that may come.

I remember times spent with you and my Pa-Pa(Homer Glass),while I was just a small child.They were the best of friends.And I loved to spend time with both of them,because they would make me laugh.And I know Larrysbeen through numerious task throughout his life time.But once he got saved and started living for the Lord,he would always press on with the strength the Lord has given to him.The last time I saw him was 2 Saturdays before he passed.I hugged his neck tightly and told him that I loved him and he was always in our prayers.I was happy I was able to tell him that I loved him.Because he was the only one out of the family and friends I have lost in these past few months,that I was able to say goodbye to and say I love you.My last words to him was once he has finished his Fathers business that He would come to take him to his new home.You will be missed cousin Larry,but never forgotten.And I wil see you again once ourBrother Jesus returns for us.Love Always,Lisa A.Glass

just want you to know that even though we never really had alot of bonding time, you will always be my grandpa by heart! you were caring, compassionate, giving, and most of all stubborn. just like me! haha. everytime i walk through the doors at the shop you will be in my thoughts. i gotta admit things arent right without you. im doin everything i can to hold myself together while writing this! you were everything a friend could ask for and more. ill miss hearing you and uncle ray bickering at each other like a dang married couple, all those times that no matter what, nothing would slow you down. rain, sleet, snow, hell, or 100 degree weather, it didnt matter. you always stood strong like the soldier we all know you are! there wont be a day that passes that we dont think of you. you took a big toll on our hearts and it will never be filled or replaced untill the day we walk through those gates to meet you again! now that your gone ill have to put a lil more effort into my stubborness to keep your attitude alive! (: no matter what grandpa, your still very much alive in my heart and we can hangout anytime! ill NEVER forget you and ill ALWAYS love you!

 i will truly miss you. want to thank you for being there all these years. ill always remember where ever i went and whatever i did, you would always call me off to the side and ask me if i needed money so i wouldn't have to ask anybody. don't worry, i will keep everyone at the shop in line for ya(: maybe not as good as you could but, ill try! ill always be with you and i know your always gonna be with me where ever i am. god bless you! you were so loved by everyone, i love you!

All my life my mom told me that if you had one true friend you were blessed.

well my FRIEND i was truly blessed to have you as my best friend.

It's hard for me to understand why you were called back home to be with god in heaven but I know in my heart that you are at peace and you are not suffering or in pain.

Tell all the others your family  & Mine we will see you again.

Please meet me at the Pearly gates so you can lead me in when it's my time to go home to god. Untill then my friend i will hold you in my heart.
