Mr. Larry Wayne Philpot was born April 15, 1949 to the late Quella Lindsey-Philpot and Charlie Philpot. Larry transcended this life on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. He joined St. Mary United Methodist Church at an early age. He graduated from Ethel W. Kight in 1966. He served in the United States Army in 1968.

He leaves to cherish his memory; two sisters, Wanda Williams and Judy Dallas; four brothers, Charlie Philpot, Frank Philpot, Melvin Jackson and Tony Patterson; a loving and caring companion, Dorothy Mitchell and family.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Sewell and three brothers, Carl Philpot, Robert Philpot and Stanley Philpot.
