JULY 21, 2009 Laurence M. Lynch 75, of Nineveh, passed away July 17, 2009. He was born March 30, 1934 in Toledo, OH to Walter Eugene and Catherine Martin Lynch, who have preceded him in death. Larry graduated from St. Meinrad High School, St. Meinrad College and School of Theology and received a Master of Science Degree from Indiana State University. Larry served as an Archdioceses Priest for 19 years, and taught school for 40 years at the Latin School in Indianapolis, Morristown Schools, Schulte High School in Terre Haute, and retired as Chair of the Science Department at Franklin Community School Corp. in 2005. He also served as a Chaplain for the Indianapolis Police Department, and was a counselor for 18 years at Tara Treatment Center. He was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Keely Dr. and Main Cross, in Edinburgh, IN. Interment will follow in Nineveh Cemetery. Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Margaret A. Lynch; daughter, Joni E. Stanutz (Nicholas); son, William H. Roell; two grandchildren, Brooke and Blaine Wildrick; two sisters, Sharon M. Laughlin (David) and Sarah K. Ramsey (Paul); two brothers, Martin W. Lynch (Carolyn) and Robert J. Lynch; and numerous nieces and nephews. A daughter, Lisa Bledsoe, preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Keely Dr. and Main Cross, Edinburgh, IN 46124 or to Tara Treatment Center, 357 E. Lakeview Dr., Nineveh, IN 46164. Final care and arrangements are entrusted to Shirley Brothers Thompson Road Chapel.
