As a child Larry loved Pop Warner football, touch football, little league baseball, fishing, going to the beach, Loved listenig to Carole king, Olivia Newton John and Luther Vandross. His favorite movie was the Red balloon. He married Dawn Messer Strickland in 1983 and had 4 children together.  As an adult He still loved the beach, fishing, looking at stars, golfing, watching documentaries , sports, his son Sean fight in UFC and always looked forward to spending time with his children, grandkids, sister, mother, family and friends.
