<p>Trish was born on February 12, 1980 to Yolanda Carol & George Mathis. She was named Latricia Michelle Mathis by her cousin Cassandra Riley-Holt. And given the nickname "Rosebud" by her Great Grandmother "Momma Sugg". She was a healthy happy baby until April 1981 when she was diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia. No one knew the havoc this ugly disease would wreak over her life! Her parents split early in her life and she was raised in a single parent household. Although her Dad remained in her life.</p><p>Trish experienced her first hospitalization at the age of two (2). This was the beginning of a painful lifetime of hospital stays, IV's, needles, blood draws, and later on....blood transfusions! In her young life, she spent many birthdays and holidays in the hospital</p>
