Laura had been in a hurry from the day she was born. 9 lbs. 2 ozs. and 23 inches long, that's a lot to carry even for me. 3 pushes and she was in this world. The nurse rolled her into my room and as I lay there, this  little girl with a head full of black hair raised her head up, bobbing around, trying to see the world, eyes wide open.
