on her obituary

February 5, 2012

God saw you were getting tired and a cure not meant to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered "come with me."  With tearful eyes we watched you suffer, and slowly fade away. Although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to use he only takes the best.

My Angel

February 2, 2012

Grandma was and still is my angel. She used to wait for me to come home from school everyday just to ask me how it went. She always got the same response from me it was ok. Now if I could I would give her step by step details of how school went even if it wasn't exciting. I can remember her hugs and voice just like it was yesterday. She had a heart of gold. Grandma always had the most amazing ways to make you feel better when you were sad. One day I was really upset I didn't want anyone to know. So I just put a smile on my face and acted as if everything was ok. To anyone else they would have thought I was perfectly fine. But not grandma she asked what was wrong. When I told her nothing everything was fine. She got this piercing look in her eyes like she could see right through to my heart. She made me sit down beside her and instead of her making me talk about what was bothering me she just held me tight. Just that hug made everything ok. She was my bestfriend and shoulder to cry on. She was my rock! She may not have had wings and a halo. But if anyone deserved them it was her! I know today that grandma has a halo and wings. Her love is like the wind I can't see it but i can feel it!
