Laura Jensen, age 56, of Aurora, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 28 at the Monroe Evangelical Free Church in Phillips. Pastors Bob Stretch and Joe Mullarkey will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the Monroe Evangelical Free Church, 1001 West 18 Road. Laura Marie Jensen, the daughter of Franklin and Evelyn (Hinkle) Miller, was born at Nebraska City, on May 13, 1959 and went to be with her Heavenly Father in Aurora, on December 22, 2015, at the age of 56.

Laura grew up in Valley, and then went on to attend and graduated from Grand Island Central Community College.

Laura was united in marriage to Clinton Jensen on December 19, 1987. Following their marriage they lived in Aurora.

She was a member of the Monroe Evangelical Free Church. Laura enjoyed following all of her children’s activities. She loved to bake and cook, especially Christmas cookies.

Laura was an extremely generous and caring person who always put others above herself. Laura’s unconditional Christ like love for her husband and children was extremely evident. Her number one priority in life was that others would know her Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joe Miller.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Clinton Jensen of Aurora; 5 children, Jenice Ware of Hastings, Jesse (Sarah) Jensen of Norfolk, Chance Jensen of Sunrise, Florida, Tyler (Triniti) Jensen of Aurora and Christian Jensen of Aurora; 4 grandchildren, Brady, Micah and Jack Jensen of Norfolk and Jestyne Ware of Hastings; sister, Joyce Lundy of Omaha; mother-in-law, Lois Jensen of Aurora and numerous other family members and close friends
