Laura Russell Moss, 88, passed away February 25, 2018 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

A native of Granville County she was the daughter of the late Hugh Russell and Janie Whitt Russell. Laura was of the Baptist Faith and retired from the Food Service Department at John Umstead Hospital.

Graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday March 5th, 2018 at Carolina Memorial Gardens by Rev. Dan Hill.

Surviving are two daughters, Linda Marks (Milton) of Butner, Dorothy Norwood of Stem; a son, Hugh Moss of Treasure Island, Florida; a sister, Alice Newsome (Fred) of Rougemont; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Moss and a son Roy Moss.
