It was during the summer of 1994 Laura was living with me in Alamagordo NM. we were driving to La Cruses and she wanted me to teach her how to drive. the car I had at that time had a stick shift. I told her I would teach her if she would learn and sing one song for me ,it was  a Steve Ray Vaughn song called " Do you love me baby" Well it normally took about an hour to get to La Cruses but that day we spent the whole afternoon getting there.Laura struggling with the car and the song.As with anything she worked at she learned how to shift  the car and learned the song. All the times we spoke after that we would ask each other  do you love me baby. I miss my girl and I know she is watching out for all her friends right now. I Love You Baby
