In one week i had two spine surgeries, we would eventually learn they would be considered failed.  However, there i was with nine inches of stitches in the back and 64 stables in the front.  I was not a nice person during that time, I was in grave pain and had the attitude that went with it.  I overheard Laura in the hallway telling all the nurses, she is a wonderful person i promise you, she really is!  The nurses said, she is in a lot of pain, on this floor we understand the patient who faces such pain, its really okay.

One Sunday morning before i could wake up, i was sleeping in for once, Laura stood on a chair with wheels to change the page on a calendar.  Yes, I said, a chair with wheels~!  She fell broke her wrist completely into!  I slept so soundly i could not hear her cries for help, so Jazz rain to where I was sleeping and pounced on my chest, all 66 pounds of him.  I said, "What??" when i heard her screams, jazz of course took me right to her.  I called 911 and they arrived within a few minutes.  Oh yes, King Jazz adored his Laura so much, he would always save her no matter what it took.

Our siberian Husky had puppies, for weeks Mariah wanted me to rub her tummy, which was odd cause she was a total Laura dog.  But I did rub her tummy for days.  Finally, exhausted i fell asleep, early one morning i heard puppies cry.  I woke laura and yelled puppies!  Oh yes puppies indeed seven of them!  Before they even had their eyes open one barked, which is very rare to have happen.  I yelled for Laura a puppy is barking, she answered, Impossible!  I said come here and see, she quickly got to where the puppies were and one of them shaking barely standing, his head bobbing cause he could not stand well yet, barked again!  I laughed and looked at Laura, smiled and said, "Baby, I think we just got chosen."  I named him King Jazz after the music style and he is the best of best of dogs, now 13 yrs old and still going strong.  He misses Laura so much and still looks for her.  he loved her with all that he has within in him.

It was one early Sunday morning, I heard Laura rushing around getting dressed.  I said where are you going?  Work silly, I turned over and went back to sleep, after she had left, I said now wait a minute this is Sunday. I called for her but it was too late she had left.  She went to the office where she was a billing anaylst, clocked it and thought it was strange no one had arrived before her.  she sat at her desk and realized she had checked in on a Sunday.  Embarrassed she slowly went to the time clock, then clocked out and drove home.  I laughed and said, so just how far did you go until you realized what day it was and i smiled.  she laughed and said kust never mind . . . okay, okay i clocked in and everything.  We both had a hearty laughed as I served her breakfast and decided to have a great sunday after all.
