I remember 60 years ago today. We husked corn out in the front yard for hours, it seemed, then we went over to the hospital to see the new baby. She sure was pretty!

Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away in the next room. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and, you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Speak of me in the easy way you always used. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Why should I be out of mind because I'm out of sight? I am but waiting for you. Some where very near. All is well.
When I read this, I thought of you. Its hard to believe its only been a year. I miss you.

A synchronicity. I just came in from listening to the rain on our steel awning. Lauren always planned on coming down for a spring rain under the steel.She has remnded me to always make time for the things you plan to do. In tribute to Lauren,,,no more putting fun off.
